Castro County Commissioners Court: the Year Not on the Site; the FY 2026-2027 Budget Has No Veterans Line

The Castro County Commissioners Court (County Judge Mandy Gfeller) posts its minutes on a separate server this sweep could not reach, and its site's agenda and minutes lists stop in 2023; its approved FY 2026-2027 budget has no veterans department or line, and no benefit is known to have been adopted, narrowed or repealed.

Also called: Commissioners Court, County Judge, Mandy Gfeller, budget, Dimmitt, Hart, Nazareth.

For: Veteran or service member.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The Court. The Castro County Commissioners Court meets at the courthouse, 100 East Bedford, Dimmitt; it sits as County Judge Mandy Gfeller and Commissioners Paul Ramirez, Tim Elliott, Michael Goolsby and Ralph Brockman, and its rules of procedure were adopted August 11, 2025. What was read, and what was not. The Minutes page links "Commissioners Court Minutes" to a server at a bare IP address (104.245.77.180, port 8082) that did not answer from this sweep's network; the page's own minutes list ends with March 27, 2023 and the Agenda page's list with June 27, 2023, and the Public Notices page is empty. So no agenda or minutes of September 2025 to October 2026 was read. What the record shows. The approved FY 2026-2027 budget (the 2027 final budget, printed August 24, 2026) has no veterans department or line (see castro-tx-veterans-services). Nothing read names a veterans item of the year.
