26th Judicial Circuit Veterans Treatment Court (Camden, Laclede, Morgan, Miller and Moniteau Counties)

The Office of State Courts Administrator's Veterans Courts map shades Camden County in the 26th Judicial Circuit as running a veterans treatment court program alongside Morgan, Miller, Moniteau and Laclede, so this entry carries Laclede, Morgan, Miller and Moniteau too; Camden's own treatment-court record in the window is its transportation contract, and none of the five counties publishes eligibility.

The State's map. The Office of State Courts Administrator's Veterans Courts map (the "Veterans Courts Map_2024" PDF, read through the Internet Archive capture of March 5, 2025 because courts.mo.gov answers 403 to plain fetch) shades Camden County as running a "Veterans Treatment Court Program" in the 26th Judicial Circuit, whose Morgan, Miller, Moniteau and Laclede counties are shaded with it. The map's own description: the Veterans Treatment Court "focuses on addressing the substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, or mental health disorders of defendants charged with a criminal offense who are military veterans or current military personnel." Section 478.001.7 is the authorising statute; see the Missouri entry. Neither the map nor the circuit's pages publish eligibility, the treatment provider or the docket's terms. The county's own record. The Board of County Commissioners' year carries the treatment court as a funding line: the Board received two bids for agenda item 260820, the treatment court's transportation, and awarded the bid to Lake Ride Pros on the Treatment Court Administrator's recommendation - the minutes name Rebecca Cummins, Treatment Court Administrator, as the department's part-time case manager's supervisor. The items name no veteran track of their own; the circuit's veteran docket is the map's, not the county's, and the Circuit Clerk is the route for referral. Laclede County. The same map shades Laclede in the 26th Circuit. Laclede's own record names no veteran docket: the County Commission's minutes of October 2025 to October 2026 carry no veterans court item, and the 2026 budget's treatment court line is the Drug Treatment Court Fund ($18,000 of fees estimated for 2026). A Laclede County veteran facing charges should ask a defence lawyer to raise the veterans docket early, or ask the Laclede County Circuit Clerk, Heather Officer, in Lebanon (417-532-2471). Morgan County. The map shades Morgan in the 26th Circuit too. Morgan's own site names no veteran docket (its Courts Contact Info page lists the circuit and associate divisions at 211 East Newton Street, Versailles), it posts no commission minutes after February 2024, and its 2024 financial statement carries no treatment court or veteran line. A Morgan County veteran facing charges should ask a defence lawyer to raise the veterans docket early, or call the Morgan County Circuit Court at (573) 378-4413. Miller County. The map shades Miller in the 26th Circuit as well; this entry rests on that archived January 2024 map, since no page or order of the circuit's own that names the veterans docket could be read (the circuit's local rules sit on courts.mo.gov, which refuses automated fetches). Miller's own record names no veteran docket: the Commission's 113 posted minutes of January 2 to October 23, 2026 carry no veterans court item, and the 2026 budget has no treatment court line. A Miller County veteran facing charges should ask a defence lawyer to raise the veterans docket early, or call the Miller County Circuit Clerk, Sheila Curtman, at the courthouse, 2001 Highway 52, Tuscumbia (circuit court 573-369-1980, associate court 573-369-1970). Moniteau County. The map shades Moniteau in the 26th Circuit too, and KY3's report of the court's launch at the Camden County courthouse (April 26, 2019) says it "will serve the 26th Judicial Circuit, which includes Camden, Morgan, Miller, Moniteau, and Laclede Counties", with Judge Aaron Koeppen among its volunteer judges. This widening rests on that archived January 2024 map and the 2019 report: no page or order of the circuit's own naming the veterans docket could be read, and Moniteau County has no website, so it posts no minutes or budget that would show one. A Moniteau County veteran facing charges should ask a defence lawyer to raise the veterans docket early, or ask the Moniteau County Circuit Clerk and ex officio Recorder, Mandy Burger, 200 E. Main Street, Room 102, California (573-796-2071).
