Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The assessor’s forms and applications page carries an “Additional Veterans Exemption Application,” an “In-Service Veterans Exemption” application, a “Request for Proof of Disability from the Department of Veterans Affairs,” an “Ambulance / Handicapped Vehicle Exemption,” a “CT Resident in Active Duty Servicemen Motor Vehicle Tax Exemption,” a “Soldiers and Sailors Military Spouse Motor Vehicle Tax Exemption,” and a “Soldiers and Sailors Motor Vehicle Exemption.” The SeamlessDocs forms print no amounts, and the assessor’s own page describes the office’s exemption work without printing veterans’ amounts, so ask the office. Brooklyn answered OLR’s 2023 survey recording the specially adapted house option of 12-81(21)(C) and the specially equipped motor vehicle of 12-81h, and no other option.

Figures

Each figure is dated with the day it was read. A local figure moves whenever the statute or the local ordinance does, so confirm it with the office that grants it before you rely on it. Statute verified gives the day the weekly section check last found the statute standing on the legislature’s own code site; a figure without it rests on a statute the check does not read yet.
