Bozrah Veterans’ Property Tax Exemptions

Bozrah’s assessor page carries the state’s D-2 and active-duty motor vehicle forms without printing a veteran amount, and OLR’s survey recorded the town as offering the 12-81g(b) three-times option.

Also called: property tax, 12-81g, veterans exemption, assessor, Bozrah.

For: Veteran or service member.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The assessor page says the office “provides access to many exemption programs available to residents,” and its related-documents list carries the D-1 Disabled Tax Exemption Application, the D-2 100% Permanently and Totally Disabled Tax Exemption Application (fillable), the Military Active Duty CT Resident Form, the Military Active Duty MV Exemption and the Military Active Duty Non-Resident Form. No veteran amounts are printed anywhere on the page, and no additional-veterans application is posted. OLR’s 2023 survey recorded Bozrah as offering the 12-81g(b) option, which gives a veteran rated 100 percent disabled, at income limits of $21,000 single and $24,000 married, three times the 12-81(20) exemption in place of the twice under 12-81g(a). No adoption was found on a readable host; the town’s code is not published on its site. Ask the assessor how the town administers the option.

Figures

Each figure is dated with the day it was read. A local figure moves whenever the statute or the local ordinance does, so confirm it with the office that grants it before you rely on it. Statute verified gives the day the weekly section check last found the statute standing on the legislature’s own code site; a figure without it rests on a statute the check does not read yet.
