Bergen County Veterans Day Free Golf Round

Each Veterans Day week, Bergen County veterans and active-duty service members play a free round at the county’s six golf courses - Darlington, Orchard Hills, Overpeck, Rockleigh, Soldier Hill and Valley Brook - with status confirmed at tee-time check-in.

For Veterans Day week 2023, "all Bergen County Veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy a free round of golf at any of the County's six golf courses from Friday, November 10th through Thursday, November 16th," and the offer repeated for November 11 to 15, 2024. Residency is the county's own: "Must be Bergen County residents," and "Active-duty service member and Veteran status will be confirmed upon tee-time check in." Golfers accompanying a reservation who are not veterans or active-duty pay full price; early-access tee times are by phone through the county's Division of Golf. The six courses: Darlington Golf Course in Mahwah, Orchard Hills Golf Course in Paramus, Overpeck Golf Course in Teaneck, Rockleigh Golf Course in Rockleigh, Soldier Hill Golf Course in Emerson and Valley Brook Golf Course in River Vale. No standing veteran discount at the county courses or parks is published outside this annual round; check the county's press releases for the current year's dates.
