Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The office. Aransas County Veterans' Services, 2840 Highway 35 N., Rockport (the county's 2023-2024 Community Resources Directory, which lists it twice, as the "Aransas Veteran's Services Office" and under veterans organizations); (361) 790-0154. TexVet's county list names Mike Kuertz at that number, [email protected]. The office's own page, www.aransascountytx.gov/veteransvcs, has sat behind an Imperva bot check since mid-2025, and its last readable capture (February 2023) named Ruben Garcia as Veteran Services Officer; call to confirm the officer and the hours. The office files VA and State claims under Government Code chapter 434 (see the Texas entry). Other veterans resources the directory lists. American Legion Post 363 (1701 S. Church, Rockport, 361-729-1953) and VFW Post 3904 (Rockport), and the VA's Corpus Christi clinics: 4646 Corona Drive (361-854-9961), 5283 Old Brownsville Road (361-806-5600) and 205 S. Enterprise Parkway (361-939-6510). What could not be read. The county's adopted budget, which Local Government Code 111.008 requires it to post, and the Commissioners Court's minutes of the last year sit behind the same bot check, so the office's funding and staffing are not known; the route is in the revisit log.
