Aransas County Commissioners Court: the Year’s Record Behind a Bot Check

The Aransas County Commissioners Court (County Judge Ray A. Garza) posts its agendas and minutes on a site that answers automated requests with a bot check; the Internet Archive's copies of two 2025 minutes and a November 2025 agenda carry no veteran item, and the year since could not be read.

For: Veteran or service member.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The record. The Court meets on the second and fourth Mondays at 9 a.m. at 308 N. Live Oak St., Rockport (and every Monday in August), streams and keeps its meetings on YouTube, and posts agendas and minutes on its Minutes and Agendas page (361-790-0100). It sits as County Judge Ray A. Garza and Commissioners Jack Chaney, Leslie "Bubba" Casterline, Pat Rousseau and Bob Dupnik. The county's site answers automated requests with an Imperva bot check, which the sweep does not try to pass, and the Internet Archive holds few of the papers: the approved minutes of June 9 and September 22, 2025 and the agenda of November 24, 2025 were read whole, and none names veterans or the Veterans' Services office. The September 22, 2025 meeting acknowledged the notices for the 2026 budget and tax rate. What is missing. The minutes, agendas and budget of the last twelve months are not in the Archive; whether the Court acted on veterans' services in that time is not known. No veteran benefit was found adopted, narrowed or repealed.
