Veterans Court Mentorship and the Opioid Veterans Court Funds

Tennessee's treatment court contacts list gives Anderson County only the 7th Judicial District Recovery Court (Kenneth Brown, Clinton, 865-264-6316) and no veterans track, but the county's own records show a Veterans Court Mentorship programme its Veterans Service Advisory Committee recruits mentors for, and a budget fund category named Opioid Veterans Court Funds.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The state list. Tennessee's treatment court contacts page (read 2026-10-17) records for Anderson County one court, the "7th Judicial District Recovery Court", contact Kenneth Brown, Clinton, 865-264-6316, [email protected] - and no veterans treatment court for the county. The county's own records. The Veterans Service Advisory Committee's 2026 minutes carry a standing item "Veterans Court Mentorship - looking to more Veteran Mentors", and the Finance Committee's FY2026-27 fund list carries a budget category named "Opioid Veterans Court Funds" beside the general fund. The county's records read name no judge, docket or eligibility rules for a veterans docket, so what the county runs is the mentorship and the funding line; a justice-involved veteran asks the Recovery Court, the public defender or the Sessions Court judges what track is available, and the county's Veterans Service Office (865-463-6803) is the other route. See the Tennessee entry on veterans treatment courts for the statutory model under chapter 6 of title 16.
