"The mission of the WMRVTC is to serve West Michigan Veterans in the criminal justice system through a specialized treatment court docket focusing on substance abuse and mental health treatment by connecting them with treatment that provides the tools required for them to lead productive and law-abiding lives with integrity and self-respect." The court began in January 2014 and holds status reviews in the Allegan County District Court, 113 Chestnut Street; it runs misdemeanour and felony tracks of 12 to 24 months, and its October 2023 handbook sets a programme fee of $500 or $900.
