Alamance County Veterans Services

Alamance County Veterans Services, 319 N. Graham Hopedale Road, Suite E, Burlington ((336) 570-6763), advises and represents veterans and families in claims and appeals with nationally and state-accredited officers trained in appeals, by appointment only, weekdays 8 to 5; it also runs the county's Veterans Day parade.

Alamance County Veterans Services is the county veterans service office under G.S. 143B-1211; see the North Carolina entry. Its mission: "Advise, educate, assist, and support veterans and their families in obtaining benefits through state and federal programs and to act as an advocate on their behalf". The team's "nationally and state-accredited VSOs have specialized training in VA benefits" and "advanced appeals training, allowing us to effectively advocate for veterans at all levels of the VA system."
