Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The exemptions are the State's; the Florida entries explain them. The Alachua County Property Appraiser administers them from acpafl.org. Its forms page lists, under "Exemptions Forms": "Deployed Military Exemption Application (DR-501M)... Optometrist's Certification of Total and Permanent Disability (DR-416B)... Original Application for Homestead and Related Tax Exemptions (DR-501)... Physician's Certification of Total and Permanent Disability (DR-416)... Senior Citizen Exemption for Persons Age 65 and Over (DR-501SC)... Tax Discount - Veterans Age 65 and Older with a Combat-Related Disability (DR-501DV)..." What the forms page does not do. It names no veteran exemption table and no deadline on the page fetched; the statutory filing deadline is March 1 and the discounts are the State's (the 65-plus discount equals the percentage of the disability that is combat-related), so read them from the Florida entries and confirm the filing window with the Appraiser's office.
