Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Mo. Rev. Stat. 59.480 makes the recording of a discharge free and limits who may see or copy it; see the Missouri entry. The Recorder's page lists "Military Discharges" among the documents in the office. Its recording fee ($26 the first page and $3 each further page, cash or check only) and the copy charges it mentions are for land records; the page says nothing of discharge fees, and the statute keeps a discharge and its copies free. No request form is posted; copies go only to the veteran or an authorized party on the Recorders Association of Missouri's notarized request. Where. Recorder of Deeds Tracy Hunter, 106 W.
